PPR Pipe installation process:
1. Technological process:
Installation preparation → incoming material inspection → Prefabrication → dry pipe installation → branch pipe installation → pipe flushing → pipe pressure test
In order to ensure the quality of installation, the material should be strictly inspected when purchasing, the diameter ellipticity of the pipe should be < 10%, the wall thickness deviation of the same section of the pipe should be < 14%, the inner and outer walls should be smooth and flat, no bubbles, cracks, cracks, dents, peeling and serious cold spots and obvious marks.
2. Pipe cutting:
Pipe cutting can also be cut by special pipe scissors: the bayment of the pipe scissors should be adjusted to match the diameter of the cut pipe, and the force should be evenly applied when rotating cut off. After cutting off, the fracture should be rounded by a matching round trimmer. When the pipe is broken, the section should be perpendicular to the pipe axis without burrs.
3. PP-R pipe connection:
① It can be welded, hot melt and threaded connection. Among them, the hot melt connection is the most reliable, easy to operate, good air tightness and high interface strength. The pipe connection of this project adopts hand-held welding device for hot melt connection. Dust and foreign matter should be removed from pipes and accessories before connection.
② Pipe connection using welding machine heating pipe and pipe fittings, pipe and pipe fittings hot melt depth should meet the requirements.
③ When connecting, insert the tube end into the heating sleeve without rotation to reach the predetermined depth. At the same time, the pipe is pushed to the heating head without rotation to heat, and after the heating time is reached, the pipe and pipe are immediately removed from the heating sleeve and the heating head at the same time, and are quickly inserted into the required depth without rotation and uniform force, so that the joint forms a uniform flange. Within the specified heating time, the just-welded joint can also be corrected, but rotation is strictly prohibited. When the heated pipe and pipe fittings are vertically aligned, the force should not be too strong to prevent the bend.
④ After the connection is completed, the pipe and pipe fittings must be tightly held to maintain sufficient cooling time, and the hand can be released after cooling to a certain degree.
⑤ When PP-R pipe is connected with metal pipe fittings, PP-R pipe with metal insert should be used as a transition, the pipe fittings and PP-R pipe are connected by hot melt socket, and the metal pipe fittings or sanitary ware hardware accessories are connected by threaded connection, it is appropriate to use polypropylene raw material belt as a sealing filler. When installing, do not exert too much force, so as not to damage the thread fittings and cause leakage at the connection.
