Process of PERT Pipe
Preparation raw materials
•Main raw materials: PERT resin.
•Additives: In order to improve the performance of the pipe, some additives are usually added, such as antioxidants, stabilizers, colorants, etc.
Extrusion
•Add the prepared raw materials to the extruder and extrude them through the extruder. (Extrusion temperature that is too high or too low will affect the performance of the pipe and needs to be strictly controlled)
Vacuum shaping and cooling
•After mold molding, a pipe blank is formed. After spraying or immersion cooling, it is quickly cooled and shaped.
Winding or cutting
•Winding: Roll qualified pipes into a certain length of pipe rolls for easy transportation and storage.
•Cutting: Cut the pipe rolls into the required length according to customer needs.
Inspection
•During the production process, the size, thickness, appearance, etc. of the pipe are inspected online to ensure product quality.
Marking and packing:
•The final stage of the process is marking the pipes with relevant information such as size and pressure ratings. They are then packed in bundles and stored in warehouses awaiting distribution to different sites.
PERT Pipe Step-by-Step Installation Guide
Planning and Preparation
Begin by mapping out your plumbing system. Identify areas where PERT pipes will run and position fittings, connectors, and any necessary valves. Measure and mark the required pipe lengths using the measuring tape.
Cutting and Deburring
