PP-R Pipe Pressing Steps

1. The test pressure is 1.5 times the working pressure of the pipeline system, but not less than 0.6Mpa.
2. For PP-R pipeline systems, the water pipe test is generally required to be conducted 24 hours after the pipe connection and installation.
3. Before pressure testing of water pipes, safe and effective fixing and protection measures should be taken for the pipes, but the joints should be exposed.
4. Hydrostatic test steps
(1) Block the end of the pressure test pipe, slowly inject water, and remove the gas in the pipe at the same time.
(2) After filling with water, perform water tightness inspection.
(3) Pressurization should be done slowly with a manual pump, and the pressure increase time should not be less than 10 minutes.
(4) Raise to the test pressure, stop pressurization, stabilize the pressure for 1 hour, and observe whether there is water leakage at the joint.
(5) Stabilize the pressure for one hour and add pressure to the test pressure value. The pressure does not drop more than 15 minutes. 0.05Mpa is considered qualified.
