Is The Floor Heating Pipe Laying Density The Higher The Better?

Under the same water temperature and pipe diameter, the more dense the heating pipe, the greater the heat, the higher the surface temperature and room temperature, which is a basic phenomenon, and an important reason is the heating end, which is usually said to be dry and wet, under the same conditions, the dry heating end than the wet cement end of the ground temperature increased by about 5 degrees Celsius. Therefore, there are three factors affecting the floor heating temperature: the end of the floor heating, the inlet water temperature and the distance between the pipes.

The minimum spacing of the floor heating pipe is determined by the minimum bending radius, the minimum bending radius shall not be less than 5 times the diameter of the pipe, that is, the minimum spacing of the floor heating pipe shall not be less than 10 times the diameter of the pipe, otherwise it will easily lead to water blocking of the elbow and reduce the heating efficiency. This is the main reason why the 20 floor heating pipe spacing can not be less than 20 cm. At the same water temperature and the same end, 16 tubes can raise the ground temperature by 3 degrees Celsius than 20 tubes.

Below 10 pipe diameter is called capillary, the smaller the pipe diameter, the greater the water resistance! This is the reason why the conventional pipe can be more than 10 square meters per loop, while the capillary can only be about 5 square meters, the denser the pipe, the more the water distributor joint, the lower the heating stability naturally, so 40 degrees of low temperature water is the most suitable for 13 tubes. The key to installing floor heating is to select the reasonable value of pipe diameter and pipe spacing according to the water temperature and demand in the pipe after calculation. Choose dry floor heating end or thick cement wet floor heating end according to the floor height, temperature and energy saving needs.
