The sealing of the bushing joint depends on the stress inside the bushing to maintain a durable sealing effect. After a poor quality card is used for a long time, the stress will gradually disappear, leading to oil leakage. Ensure that the bushing is not subjected to abnormal internal stresses, such as high tension or compression forces, prior to pipe assembly. The nut should be able to turn easily over the entire rotation range of the thread without getting stuck. Otherwise, a leak may occur and even cause the pipe to break.
Installation error
During the installation process, if the cut end face of the steel pipe is not smooth, there are burrs or improper control of the pre-installation force of the sleeve, it may lead to seal failure. At the same time, if the pipe is bent, it is also necessary to reserve enough length, otherwise it will affect the insertion and sealing of the pipe.
Vibration problem
Vibration of various fittings in the equipment may cause seal failure. For example, in transportation equipment, each connecting pipe joint will leak or fall off, resulting in seal failure.
Problems of material
Too low stiffness of the bushing joint will lead to the failure of the seal. Because the single sleeve joint is a linear seal, the internal cutting edge is required to have a high hardness. The high hardness of the population in the sleeve is to ensure that the hardness of the nozzle can be higher than that of the nozzle when assembling, and a certain depth is embedded in the outer wall of the nozzle. If the hardness of the nozzle is higher than the hardness of the sleeve, it will hinder the embedding function of the blade in the sleeve, after the assembly is completed, the sleeve joint is under limited pressure, and then subjected to the force exerted by the movement of the total material flow or vibration, it will lead to leakage phenomenon, and may also make the nozzle slip out of the joint in serious cases.
Parts structure and size problems
If the size of the blade inside the sleeve does not meet the requirements, or the depth of the sleeve embedment is not enough, the depth of the pressing nut is not enough, etc., will cause the lack of extrusion pressure of the sleeve, and it is easy to appear the nozzle slip phenomenon.
