Precautions for floor heating pipe laying to prevent breakage

During the construction process of floor heating pipe laying, the problems affecting the construction quality of floor heating pipe are mainly as follows:

(1) The bending radius of the 180° bend in the pipeline is less than 8 times the diameter of the pipe

(2) Floor heating coil leakage, secondary water pressure unqualified.

(3) The installation error of pipeline spacing is too large (the spacing deviation specified in the specification is not more than ± 10mm).

 

The main reasons for the failure of secondary water pressure when the bending radius of the 180° bend of PERT floor heating pipeline is less than 8 times the pipe diameter and the floor heating coil leakage are analyzed:

 

(1) Cross construction, the finished product protection is not in place of the floor heating construction sequence is: first lay heat insulation board, aluminum foil, steel wire mesh, and then lay the floor heating plate, connect the water distributor and carry out the water pressure test, after the water pressure test is qualified, finally cover the wire mesh and pour concrete. Due to more construction, the pipeline installation is easy to be damaged by construction, especially the construction of concrete protective layer, which is easy to cause damage to the floor heating plate.

 

(2) The floor heating pipe is mostly laid in snake cloth pipe, 180° elbow more, subsequent construction, stepping and concrete compaction, spreading equal process, not only easy to cause the bending radius of the pipeline 180° bend less than 8 times the diameter of the pipe, but also easy to damage the pipe or PERT floor heating pipe and water distributor connection loose, resulting in leakage, resulting in secondary water pressure test unqualified.

 

To solve the above problems, formulate corresponding countermeasures as follows:

 

1. Strengthen the protection of finished products, the concrete is transported by slurry pump, and the support of the pump tube is usually placed directly on the floor heating coil. Pump pipe swing back and forth easily cause damage to the floor heating pipe. We should communicate with the construction personnel in a timely manner, change the support of the pump pipe to be supported by steel bars, and educate the construction personnel on the protection of the floor heating pipe.

 

2. Add special shaping bend. Add a shaped bend to the bend of the water collector box of the PERT floor heating pipe, and add a shaped bend here to increase the protection of the weak part of the pipe. This measure not only avoids the damage to the pipe in the concrete construction process, causing the leakage of the pipe, but also avoids the damage to the pipe in the construction process.

 

3. After the water pressure test is completed, the floor heating pipe shall keep the pressure unchanged, and the concrete floor shall be constructed until the concrete is preliminarily solidified, and then the pressure gauge shall be removed for pressure relief. Pressure construction has two advantages, one is that if the pipe is damaged and leaked, it can be timely found and accurately located, and the pipe can be repaired or replaced. The other is that the water pressure has a supporting effect on the pipe, effectively reducing the influence caused by the low hardness of the floor heating pipe, and reducing the probability of the bending radius of the 180° bend of the pipeline at the turning point is less than 8 times the diameter of the pipe.
