PEX-B pipes are made from cross-linked polyethylene and cross linked by SILANE method (PE-Xb). PEX-B is created using the silane method of crosslinking. The polyethylene is immersed in a hot silane grafts the molecular chains together. This crosslinking creates a durable pipe material capable of withstanding temperature fluctuations, water pressure, corrosion and material stresses.
PEX-B provides an optimized balance of temperature resistance, durability and flexibility for maximized performance at an economical price point.

For underfloor heating applications, we produce PEX-B pipe with oxygen barrier that is specially designed for radiant heating installations. The external layer EVOH does not allow oxygen to penetrate the pipe so as to prevent corrosion in the metallic parts of the system.
