1. The connecting surfaces of pipes and fittings must be kept dry, clean, and oil-free.
2. The pipe must be cut so that the end face is perpendicular to the pipe axis. Pipe cutting generally uses pipe shears or pipe cutting machines. If necessary, a sharp hacksaw can be used, but the burrs and burrs should be removed when cutting the pipe section.
3. The fused parts of the electrofusion fittings and pipes should be kept free from moisture.
4. Connect the hot melt tool to the power source and the green indicator light will turn on when it reaches the working temperature before the operation can begin.
5. When heating, guide the pipe end into the heating mantle without rotation and insert it to the marked depth. At the same time, push the pipe fitting onto the heating head without rotation until it reaches the specified mark. The heating time should be carried out according to the instruction manual of the welding tool.
6. After the heating time is reached, immediately remove the pipe and pipe fittings from the heating mold at the same time, and insert them quickly and evenly to the marked depth in a straight line without rotation, so that a uniform flange is formed at the joint.
7. Within the specified time, the newly welded joint can still be corrected, but it must not be rotated.
8. When welding elbows or tees, pay attention to their direction according to the requirements of the design drawings, and use auxiliary marks to mark the positions in the straight line direction of the pipe fittings and pipes.
9. The standard heating time of electrofusion connection should be provided by the manufacturer and should be adjusted according to the ambient temperature.
10. Pipes must not be bent when installed. When passing through walls or floors, it is not advisable to force correction. When laying with other metal pipes, the clear distance should be greater than 100mm, and polypropylene pipes should be inside the metal pipes.
11. Indoor exposed pipes should be installed after the civil construction is completed. Before installation, holes should be correctly reserved in conjunction with the civil construction. The size should be 50mm larger than the outer diameter of the pipe. When the pipeline passes through the floor, a steel casing should be installed, and the casing should be 50mm higher than the floor (ground) surface.
12. When pipes pass through the foundation wall, metal sleeves should be installed to make your installation more secure.
13. For pipes concealed under the floor surface and inside the wall, hydraulic pressure testing and concealment engineering acceptance and recording should be carried out.
14. When pipelines pass through floors and roofs, strict waterproofing measures should be taken, and fixed brackets should be installed on both sides of the crossing point.
15. After installation is completed, a water pressure test must be performed.
