- Size Fittings Dry fit the press fitting fully into the pipe and confirm sizing. Ensure the fitting does not jam only partially onto the tube.
- Safety Check Double check O-ring is greased and in proper place pre-inserted in the fitting prior to clamping. This prevents leaks.
- Insert Pipe Into Fitting Push pipe through the O-ring smoothly until contact with tube stop inside fitting. Prevent pipe from developing bulges.
- Clamp Tool Alignment Place clamp tool handles between pipe and fitting body per design. Ensure it is evenly centered to distribute pressure uniformly.
- Ratchet Clamp Tool Ratchet clamp tool handles ensuring full press motion until handles completely compressed.
- Press the press switch of the pliers to press until you hear the bayonet of the aluminum-plastic pipe completely click.
After installation, be sure to perform a water leakage test to ensure the normal operation of the piping system.
